Answer: A. Provisional representative status

SFA s.99E: a provisional representative who has been regulated for the activity overseas for a continuous period of at least 12 months (and not more than 12 months before) is given a 3-month grace period to pass the requisite examinations and may conduct regulated activities in the meantime. Temporary status is for short stints by employees of a related overseas entity, and there is no 'exempt representative' class.
